The School of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM), the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FIEC), and the School of Life Sciences (FCV) at ESPOL developed a training and experimentation program focused on the design and development of video games with an environmental focus, in which 20 students from the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades of Basic General Education at the Hermano Francisco Gárate School.

The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL presents ‘Memory and Territory in a Latent State’, a collective and interactive exhibition bringing together six works developed through research, creation and action. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on gender, cultural identity and the environment through experiences that connect the public with memory and territory.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL inaugurated its new L-101 Lab on the first floor of Building 14B. This space is dedicated to the development of academic activities for the Faculty's programs and is equipped with specialized technology for graphic design and multimedia production.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL is upgrading and professionalizing its ADC 1 and ADC 2 spaces to improve the conditions under which student work is presented and enhance the visitor experience.

FADCOM’s ADC 002 Outdoor Gallery presents “Figuration and Gesture,” an exhibition created by students in the Painting Techniques course for the PAO I-2026 semester, under the guidance of Professor Billy Soto, Ph.D.

The FADCOM ADC 001 Outdoor Gallery presents ‘Module, Repetition and Movement’, an exhibition bringing together painting exercises produced by students on the Painting Techniques course during the PAO II-2025 term, under the guidance of Professor Billy Soto, Ph.D.

The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) of ESPOL inaugurated its External Galleries. This initiative expands opportunities to exhibit students' academic and creative production and integrates art and design into the everyday spaces of the university community.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM), through Multiformato, the Creative Services Center, created two murals that incorporate art and design into the everyday environment of the polytechnic community. The works were executed by Multiformato under the artistic direction of Gabo Peña, as part of an initiative that seeks to strengthen the presence of art in ESPOL’s spaces and contribute to the development of its visual and cultural identity.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication presents “Surfing Coastal Archetypes,” an exhibition created by students in the Graphic Design 1 course during PAO I-2026, under the guidance of Professor Mónica Robles.

The School of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) is opening the exhibition *La Tribu Guayaca*, an art installation created by students in the *Design Workshop I* course, which transforms recycled paper and cardboard into a project inspired by the power of nature, Guayaquil’s identity, and sustainable design.
