The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL launched an academic initiative that brought together third-year design students with representatives from invited companies and organizations to address real-world problems through design.

ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) created a space for reflection on the challenges and transformations facing photography in the face of advances in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI).

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL held a special closing event for the “Portfolio” course in the Product Design program, featuring professionals from the national creative sector.

FADCOM–ESPOL hosted the talk and workshop “From Designer to Strategist,” led by Jonathan Quijano, a professional in advertising graphic design and a specialist in strategic marketing, branding, growth, and artificial intelligence applied to business.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) presents “Various Tasks,” an exhibition featuring works created by approximately 30 students in the Drawing I course, under the guidance of Professor Da Hee Park Kim.

Graduates of the Product Design program at ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) participated in an alumni gathering that brought together different generations for a day dedicated to reconnecting, conversing, and strengthening ties with their alma mater.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) held a master class specializing in multiband compression, aimed at students and participants interested in expanding their knowledge of audio post-production and mastering.

The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) presents the exhibition ‘Experiments in Creativity and Film Poster Design’, a showcase of projects developed by students on the Illustration Workshop course, who have transformed original ideas into visual concepts capable of bringing to life films that exist only in the imagination.

In July 2026, ESPOL’s Central Library was transformed into an art space with the exhibition “Encounters on Canvas and Paper”, a show showcasing the academic work produced in the third parallel section of the Painting Techniques course, taught by lecturer Daniel Castelo at the Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM).

On July 28, students from the School of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) participated in the ESPOL Mini-Business Fair, an initiative held on the Gustavo Galindo Velasco campus that promotes entrepreneurship and allows college students to put their business ideas into practice in a real-world setting.
