On Thursday, February 12, ESPOL held The Final Pitch, an institutional event that brings together the best projects from all faculties to conclude the Integrative Subject process.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral held the final presentations for the first cohort of the Master's Degree in Art and Technology Research, marking an academic milestone in the consolidation of research at the faculty.

This Friday, January 30, 2026, the final projects for the Master's Degree in Digital Audiovisual Post-Production, Cohort V, an academic program of the Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL.

On November 21, 2025, the Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) of ESPOL held a new edition of SHAPES, a gathering that brought together professionals, faculty members, students, and industry stakeholders to reflect on design, creativity, production processes, and market trends.

On October 18 and 19, 2025, ESPOL's Las Peñas campus hosted Game Jam Plus 2025, an international event that brought together young creatives, developers, and video game enthusiasts for an experience focused on innovation, collaboration, and learning.

On September 18, 2025, the grand finale of FADCOM's 5MinPitch took place as part of The Final Pitch event, held at the STEM facilities.

Soto's work articulates a view that integrates archaeology, contemporary art and graphic design, and highlights how the geometric lines, patterns and schemes of pre-Columbian art.

Andrea Pino, part of the academic team of the Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) of the ESPOL, successfully completed the Doctoral Programme in Art: Production and Research, obtaining the title of Doctor of Art with Cum Laude mention, a recognition reserved for doctoral theses of academic excellence.

On Friday, May 16th, the Faculty of Art, Design and Communication (FADCOM) of the ESPOL received the official visit of a delegation of the Ecuadorian Association of Plastic Artists (ASEPLAS), headed by its president, Eng. Jorge Luis Mórtola. It was a first institutional rapprochement between both entities with a view to future collaborations.
