The ESPOL Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) presents the exhibition “The Constructed Image: Schemes and Representation Between Drawing and Painting,” a show featuring works created by students in the Drawing II and Painting Techniques courses this semester.

The ninth edition of the FADCOM–ESPOL Product Design Symposium brought together academia, the business sector, and professionals to reflect on the possibilities of designing, innovating, and creating value from Ecuador.

The School of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL held the semifinals of its 5MinPitch on Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1, 2026. During this stage, participating projects were evaluated through a short presentation format, with a focus on the participants’ ability to communicate and defend their proposals clearly and effectively.

ESPOL’s School of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) brought a selection of projects developed by its students to Manzana 14 as part of “Espacios ADC Itinerantes,” an initiative that seeks to bring design projects developed in an academic setting to other venues and audiences throughout the city.

ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) served as a venue for the Guayaquil International Film Festival (Festicine Guayaquil) for the first time, as part of its 12th edition, organized by the FestiCineGye Foundation. Over the course of two days, the university community had the opportunity to explore a variety of cinematic works and participate in discussions about audiovisual creation.

ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) hosted the LAB-CONNECT ESPOL lab and workshop tour, an institutional initiative organized by the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) and supported by the Office of the President, which aims to highlight the technological, academic, and infrastructure capabilities of the university’s specialized facilities.
