The School of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) of ESPOL experienced two days full of creativity and entrepreneurship during the semifinal of the #5MinPitch, an event that took place on January 29 and 30 as part of the Ordinary Academic Period (PAO) 2024-2.

The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) of ESPOL won third place in the “Arma tu árbol ecológico” contest, organized by the Dirección General de Ambiente de la Muy Ilustre Municipalidad de Guayaquil (General Directorate of the Environment of the Municipality of Guayaquil).

The Christmas spirit illuminated the Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL during the Christmas tree lighting event, a moment that brought together the entire academic community in an atmosphere of love, peace, and joy. 05/12/2024

"Anemoia" is a science fiction stop-motion animated short film developed by FADCOM alumni Kennia Rosales and Nixon Ronquillo as part of their capstone project. The work was awarded at the II International Film Festival of Santa Elena, an event that brings together outstanding talents from Ecuadorian and international cinema. 02/12/2024

“Un Elefante de Papel” is an experimental, animated and documentary short film, created by FADCOM alumni Ariana Solórzano and Johanna Ortiz, shining in national and international film festivals. 25/11/2024

On October 4th, design, innovation, and sustainability came together at the 7th Edition of SHAPES: Product Design Symposium. Under the central theme “A Sustainable and Innovative Approach,” that are redefining product creation in a world that demands environmental responsibility. 07/10/2024

On July 31, the inauguration of the Prototyping Workshop took place at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL). It houses several specialized workshops, including carpentry, modeling, painting, ceramics, and cutting.
