With the goal of strengthening its students’ professional skills, FADCOM held a training session focused on employability, which covered key aspects of successfully navigating a job interview and projecting a professional image.

On 13 July, the Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) held the first edition of the Audiovisual Exhibition: Alumni 2026 Inclusive Shorts, an event that brought together graduates of the Media Production degree programme to share with the public the audiovisual projects they had developed during their studies.

With the aim of complementing students’ practical training in audiovisual production and photography, FADCOM organised the Media Make-up Workshop on 10 July, aimed at students taking the courses ‘Photography for the Media’ and ‘Audiovisual Production’, taught by lecturer Ronald Villafuerte.

On 9 July, ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) held the latest edition of the Tapatón, a day dedicated to sustainability and community involvement that brought together more than 1,000 members of the polytechnic community with the aim of promoting the recycling of plastic bottle caps and raising environmental awareness.

During their professional training, students on the Audiovisual Project II module of the Media Production degree programme at FADCOM – ESPOL took part in a field trip to the Teleamazonas.

Part of its commitment to community engagement and the promotion of the creative industries, ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) is running a practical workshop for pupils at the Baltasara School.

The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL is making progress in strengthening its students’ entrepreneurial skills through a visit by Dr Stephanie Raible, a Fulbright specialist and associate professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Delaware, who developed a programme of work focused on analysing and strengthening the curricular redesign of the faculty’s degree programmes.

From 8 to 23 June 2026, ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) will welcome Dr Stephanie Raible, a Fulbright specialist and associate professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Delaware, as part of an academic initiative aimed at strengthening the strategic and management skills of future professionals in the creative industries.

Students from the Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) are taking part in the first edition of the inter-faculty video game tournament organised by the GGspol student club, an initiative that aims to strengthen the gaming community and foster social interaction within ESPOL.
