The “Dynamis” and “Hodos” murals bring art and identity to ESPOL’s spaces
The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM), through Multiformato, the Creative Services Center, created two murals that incorporate art and design into the everyday environment of the polytechnic community. The works were executed by Multiformato under the artistic direction of Gabo Peña, as part of an initiative that seeks to strengthen the presence of art in ESPOL’s spaces and contribute to the development of its visual and cultural identity.
FADCOM+ Makes Its YouTube Debut with Its First Live Show: “8 Questions About… Soccer”
ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) officially launched FADCOM+, its new YouTube channel—a platform for original content focused on entertainment, culture, and contemporary audiovisual production. This initiative aims to introduce the community to new digital formats while strengthening students’ practical training in real-world production settings.
FADCOM Students and Staff Present the Tapatón at an International Design Conference
ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) took its “Alquimia Plástica – Tapatón” project to the international stage during the University of Palermo’s International Design Week, where students and the Department of Communication presented a proposal demonstrating how design, popular culture, and gamification can strengthen student participation in sustainability initiatives.

FADCOM is promoting dialogue on Generative Artificial Intelligence applied to photography
Students on the Digital Photography course at the Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) took part in an academic seminar focusing on the analysis of Generative Artificial Intelligence and its impact on contemporary photography, alongside lecturer and researcher Karen Vinueza.
