The ESPOL Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) presents the exhibition “The Constructed Image: Schemes and Representation Between Drawing and Painting,” a show featuring works created by students in the Drawing II and Painting Techniques courses this semester.

ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) served as a venue for the Guayaquil International Film Festival (Festicine Guayaquil) for the first time, as part of its 12th edition, organized by the FestiCineGye Foundation. Over the course of two days, the university community had the opportunity to explore a variety of cinematic works and participate in discussions about audiovisual creation.

ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) hosted the LAB-CONNECT ESPOL lab and workshop tour, an institutional initiative organized by the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) and supported by the Office of the President, which aims to highlight the technological, academic, and infrastructure capabilities of the university’s specialized facilities.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL held a special closing event for the “Portfolio” course in the Product Design program, featuring professionals from the national creative sector.

The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL invites you to visit the exhibitions of projects related to Product Design, which are on display in Galleries 3 and 4, now fitted with new display stands and hangers developed with a focus on sustainability.

FADCOM–ESPOL welcomed Cristian Cortez, PhD, a screenwriter, playwright, and cultural manager with more than 30 years of experience in television productions in Ecuador and Latin America, who shared his insights with students on the professional practice of screenwriting and creative writing in the Ecuadorian context.

Francesco Magnone, a lecturer at ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM), took part in an academic conference on design held at the Catholic University, where he shared his thoughts on the value of objects, spaces and the experiences they evoke in people.

The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL presents ‘Memory and Territory in a Latent State’, a collective and interactive exhibition bringing together six works developed through research, creation and action. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on gender, cultural identity and the environment through experiences that connect the public with memory and territory.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL inaugurated its new L-101 Lab on the first floor of Building 14B. This space is dedicated to the development of academic activities for the Faculty's programs and is equipped with specialized technology for graphic design and multimedia production.

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL is upgrading and professionalizing its ADC 1 and ADC 2 spaces to improve the conditions under which student work is presented and enhance the visitor experience.
