FADCOM is participating in the Guayaquil International Film Festival for the first time with two days of screenings
ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) served as a venue for the Guayaquil International Film Festival (Festicine Guayaquil) for the first time, as part of its 12th edition, organized by the FestiCineGye Foundation. Over the course of two days, the university community had the opportunity to explore a variety of cinematic works and participate in discussions about audiovisual creation.
FADCOM showcased its laboratories and workshops during the LAB-CONNECT ESPOL tour
ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) hosted the LAB-CONNECT ESPOL lab and workshop tour, an institutional initiative organized by the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) and supported by the Office of the President, which aims to highlight the technological, academic, and infrastructure capabilities of the university’s specialized facilities.

FADCOM–ESPOL welcomed Cristian Cortez, PhD, a screenwriter, playwright, and cultural manager with more than 30 years of experience in television productions in Ecuador and Latin America, who shared his insights with students on the professional practice of screenwriting and creative writing in the Ecuadorian context.
Memory and territory in a latent state: an exhibition that stimulates memory through art
The Faculty of Art, Design and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL presents ‘Memory and Territory in a Latent State’, a collective and interactive exhibition bringing together six works developed through research, creation and action. The exhibition invites visitors to reflect on gender, cultural identity and the environment through experiences that connect the public with memory and territory.
New L-101 Laboratory strengthens FADCOM's technological training
The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL inaugurated its new L-101 Lab on the first floor of Building 14B. This space is dedicated to the development of academic activities for the Faculty's programs and is equipped with specialized technology for graphic design and multimedia production.
