On August 8, the first edition of PRISMA took place, an interdisciplinary workshop that brought together students, teachers, and business representatives in a space for creativity and collaboration. During this event, students from different degree programs at the Faculty of Art, Design, and Communication (FADCOM) joined forces to tackle real industry challenges, putting their knowledge, skills, and creativity to the test in an environment that closely simulates the professional world.

The Vilaseca Group, through its food unit Facundo, proposed a challenge focused on developing solutions for a novel product that will soon be launched on the market. The proposals ranged from packaging design and visual identity to technical scripts for audiovisual production.

Six groups presented comprehensive solutions that combined graphic design, product design, and audiovisual production. Organized into multidisciplinary teams of five members, the students were given a specific challenge posed by a real company.

Throughout the process, they were closely supported by mentors, who guided them, provided feedback, and strengthened their proposals, fostering key skills such as teamwork, assertive communication, and critical thinking.co.

The winning group, made up of Pamela Menoscal, Gema Mesías, Kimberly Rivera, Emily Pin, and Darwin Barahona, stood out for their comprehensive proposal: strategic naming, a visual concept aligned with the target audience, pouch-style packaging design, a functional floor display, and an audiovisual technical script, combining the strengths of the three majors to deliver a complete and effective solution.
