Graduates of the Product Design program at ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) participated in an alumni gathering that brought together different generations for a day dedicated to reconnecting, conversing, and strengthening ties with their alma mater.
The event took place at the Pop-Up Theater and brought together former students, faculty members, and school administrators in a space designed for sharing experiences, reflecting on the journey taken, and learning about new initiatives driving the program’s growth.
Ph.D. Nayeth Solórzano, dean of FADCOM, delivered the welcome remarks, emphasizing the importance of maintaining an active alumni community committed to the Faculty’s development. Subsequently, faculty member Edgar Jiménez presented the program’s current progress, projects, and outlook, highlighting the academic evolution and new challenges facing the Product Design program.
The event was led by Professor Carla Caicedo, who fostered a warm and participatory atmosphere, inviting attendees to share anecdotes, professional experiences, and memories of their time at the university. Amid conversations, laughter, and moments of fellowship, the gathering reaffirmed the sense of belonging that unites those who have been part of the FADCOM community.
Through initiatives like this, FADCOM strengthens its relationship with its alumni by fostering opportunities for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of experiences that enrich both graduates and new generations of students.
