FADCOM Holds a Theater Workshop Focused on Emotional Well-Beingl

THEATER FOR HEALING FADCOM

The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) held the workshop “Theater for Healing,” an initiative aimed at promoting emotional well-being through physical expression and the performing arts. The event took place on April 1, 2026, in Room A005 (ARTE) – 14B at FADCOM, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., bringing together participants interested in finding a safe space to release tension, manage anxiety, and reconnect with their emotional world.

The workshop consisted of a series of practical exercises and theatrical activities focused on exploring the body, the voice, and emotions. Through improvisation techniques, theatrical games, and free expression activities, participants were able to release emotions, reduce stress levels, and strengthen their personal communication skills.

This approach helped transform the space into a trusting environment where each participant drew on their own personal experiences. Through activities like these, FADCOM reaffirms its commitment to holistic education, where art not only communicates but also heals, connects, and transforms.
