FADCOM held the semifinals of its 5MinPitch competition and selected the finalist projects

ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) held the semifinals of its 5MinPitch on Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1, 2026. During this stage, participating projects were evaluated through a short presentation format focused on the participants’ ability to clearly and effectively communicate and defend their proposals.

The 5MinPitch presents the challenge of presenting a project in just five minutes, putting skills such as synthesis, argumentation, oral communication, and the ability to convey the value of a proposal to a jury to the test.

Projects from the Product Design, Graphic Design, and Media Production programs participated in the semifinals. As a result of this stage, six projects were selected to advance to the finals.

The semifinal round identified proposals that stand out for their creativity, innovation, and ability to adapt to different contexts and needs, reflecting the approaches developed across FADCOM’s various disciplines.

With this selection, the six projects advance to the final stage of the 5MinPitch, where their members will once again face the challenge of communicating the potential of their proposals in a five-minute format.
