With the aim of complementing students’ practical training in audiovisual production and photography, FADCOM organised the Media Make-up Workshop on 10 July, aimed at students taking the courses ‘Photography for the Media’ and ‘Audiovisual Production’, taught by lecturer Ronald Villafuerte.
The event featured Al Pa Gar Studio, a beauty technician from Flormar Ecuador, who shared his expertise and advice on preparing make-up for photographic and audiovisual productions. During the workshop, attendees learnt techniques relating to the application of make-up for on-camera work, the importance of characterisation, managing lighting on the face, and the aesthetic preparation of talent for different production formats.
The event was organised by the FADCOM Students’ Association (AEFADCOM) as part of its supplementary training programme, bringing students into contact with industry professionals and providing experiences that strengthen the skills required in the creative and audiovisual fields. Through initiatives such as this, FADCOM continues to promote learning opportunities that combine technical knowledge with practical experience, preparing its students to meet the demands of the professional environment.
