Graphic Design Students Develop 360° Communication Strategies for Companies

ESPOL's Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) strengthens the connection between academic training and the professional world through the course “Design Project,” taught by Professor Andrea Pino.

As part of this experience, students developed proposals and deliverables for Bimbo, Opevial, Lanec, OneGroup, and Chocolatería Rohayhu, addressing specific communication needs and applying the knowledge they acquired during their Graphic Design program.

The course aims to integrate the implementation of 360° communication strategies into the educational process, enabling students to understand design from a comprehensive and strategic perspective. To this end, they work on proposals that combine different communication resources, media, and formats in accordance with each company’s objectives and characteristics.

Working on these projects allows students to tackle challenges similar to those they will encounter in their professional careers. From interpreting requirements and conceptualizing ideas to developing visual and communication proposals, the process fosters decision-making and the ability to respond strategically to real-world needs.

This experience strengthens the technical, creative, and professional vision of future graphic designers, while also creating opportunities for interaction between academia and the professional sector.

In this way, the Design Project establishes itself as a space for applied learning, where knowledge gained in the classroom is put into practice in the face of real-world challenges, allowing students to experience the dynamics of a professional communication project.
