On July 28, students from the School of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) participated in the ESPOL Mini-Business Fair, an initiative held on the Gustavo Galindo Velasco campus that promotes entrepreneurship and allows college students to put their business ideas into practice in a real-world setting.
As part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation course, the students presented products and services developed during the semester, taking on the challenge of planning, producing, promoting, and marketing their proposals within a short period of time. The activity allowed them to apply skills related to innovation, teamwork, project management, and problem-solving. In this edition, FADCOM students contributed expertise from the faculty’s various disciplines, demonstrating how design, audiovisual communication, and creativity can become strategic tools to strengthen entrepreneurial initiatives and generate value-added proposals.
The Mini-Business Fair aims to foster the entrepreneurial spirit among ESPOL students, preparing them to develop projects with social and economic impact. In addition, the proceeds raised during the event are donated to foundations, strengthening the polytechnic community’s commitment to social responsibility. Through experiences like this, FADCOM reaffirms its commitment to a well-rounded education that connects knowledge gained in the classroom with real-world scenarios, fostering professionals capable of transforming ideas into opportunities.
