On October 18 and 19, 2025, ESPOL's Las Peñas campus hosted Game Jam Plus 2025, an international event that brought together young creatives, developers, and video game enthusiasts for an experience focused on innovation, collaboration, and learning.
The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM – ESPOL) played a key role in organizing and developing the event, reinforcing its commitment to interdisciplinary training and promoting the creative and technological industry in Guayaquil. During the event, participants worked in teams to conceptualize and develop original video game prototypes, guided by mentors specializing in design, programming, digital art, and interactive narrative. The Game Jam Plus 2025 became a space to showcase the emerging talent of young people and consolidate FADCOM's role as a driver of cultural and digital innovation.
