ESPOL’s Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) officially launched FADCOM+, its new YouTube channel—a platform for original content focused on entertainment, culture, and contemporary audiovisual production. This initiative aims to introduce the community to new digital formats while strengthening students’ practical training in real-world production settings.
The channel’s first program was “8 Questions About… Soccer,” a trivia show broadcast live from ESPOL’s television studio, in which students, fans, and guests connected to sports and communication answered a series of eight questions about the history of the FIFA World Cups. The format combines knowledge, entertainment, and interaction in a television production that puts into practice the processes of directing, hosting, producing, and live broadcasting, allowing students to apply the knowledge they’ve acquired in the classroom in a professional setting.
With FADCOM+, the School is committed to creating original audiovisual content that connects with digital audiences and showcases the talent of its community. In addition to entertainment programs, the channel will serve as a platform to showcase academic projects, cultural initiatives, interviews, and productions developed by the various degree programs at FADCOM
The launch of this platform represents another step toward consolidating spaces for audiovisual innovation and experimentation, reaffirming FADCOM’s commitment to education that integrates creativity, technology, and communication to meet the demands of the digital industry.
