The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL and the Guayaquil Higher Technological Institute (ITSG) held a photography talk and workshop with the aim of strengthening the visual and creative skills of ITSG students through a guided practical experience.
During the workshop, participants explored various photographic techniques applied with different materials and resources, learning about composition, light, texture, and visual narrative. The workshop was led by FADCOM professor Daniel Castelo, M.Sc., who shared his professional experience and artistic vision with attendees, promoting a deeper understanding of photography as a creative language and means of contemporary expression.
The activity was attended by 15 students from the Instituto Tecnológico Superior Guayaquil. FADCOM coordinated the logistics and transportation of the participants, ensuring the smooth running of the workshop. Through this inter-institutional collaboration, FADCOM continues to promote spaces for creation and experimentation, where art, technology, and education converge to inspire new ways of seeing and transforming the world.
