The Faculty of Art, Design, and Audiovisual Communication (FADCOM) at ESPOL is upgrading and professionalizing its ADC 1 and ADC 2 spaces to improve the conditions under which student work is presented and enhance the visitor experience.
This intervention is part of an ongoing effort to improve exhibition conditions by adding specialized lighting, upgrading walls, and installing new furniture. These elements contribute to a more organized, functional presentation that aligns with museum standards.
In this first phase, the focus has been on updating the lighting in ADC 1 and ADC 2. This improvement allows for a more appropriate appreciation of the artwork and helps create an exhibition atmosphere that reflects the artwork's artistic and academic nature.
In addition to this intervention, furniture for visitors has been incorporated, designed to facilitate contemplation of the works and to allow those who walk through these spaces to stop and observe them more carefully.
This adaptation responds to a vision in which student production must have spaces that allow it to be communicated adequately. Thus, the ADC spaces are consolidated not only as exhibition spaces, but also as an extension of the training process, where students can present their work, receive new perspectives, and reflect on how their proposals dialogue with the public.
The process will continue progressively across all our galleries to create exhibition spaces that are increasingly professional, functional, and aligned with the quality of FADCOM's academic production.
We invite you to visit the ADC Galleries at FADCOM, open to the public Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., featuring new exhibitions that showcase the work and creativity of our academic community.
