The “Design Your Footprint” contest was held recently; this call for entries was aimed at polytechnic students to create visual proposals with the potential to become institutional cover designs. FADCOM promoted participation under the guidance of professor Antonio Moncayo, involving students from Graphic Design 2, Editorial Design, and Printing Techniques (P1 and P2).
The selection process consisted of two phases: an initial evaluation by a blind jury, during which the 10 best proposals were selected; and an open online vote among the finalists, which determined the final results. In this process, five of the ten outstanding projects were created by FADCOM students, demonstrating conceptual strength and technical mastery in the field of design and visual communication.

These results highlight the talent of the students and confirm the educational impact of academic guidance on university graphic design. In addition, the outstanding entries are scheduled to be exhibited in an institutional gallery during the month of January, extending their reach to the polytechnic community and the general public.
