
On Friday, the Linkage Fair: Social Innovation for Sustainable Development was held inside the STEM building. The event presented MIDI-AM, a multidisciplinary project that has a component of Links with the Community led by MSc. Diego Carrera and another component of Research led by Ph.D. Nayeth Solórzano.
The event presented the projects in which students and professors from various ESPOL careers have participated and in which solutions are proposed to improve the quality of life of the communities.
Also, the linkage unit, after considering aspects such as, participating students, relationship of beneficiaries and students, publications, among other aspects, selected as best director of linkage category: articulation to research of the period 2018-2019 to MSc. Diego Carrera, being awarded during the event.
The institutional program forest projector La Prosperina also obtained a recognition that was given to its director, MSc. Andrea Pino as best director of linkage program. Also, the teacher Elizabeth Elizalde was awarded as the best tutor of an outreach project.
