Academic Requests

Dear:

To facilitate the process of meeting your requirements, the requirements and forms for student applications are available, all procedures will be received with the application and attachments in a single pdf file, to the email subdecafadcom@espol.edu.ec

 

 

The following regulations are mandatory for all students, academic and academic support staff, as well as for the polytechnic community in general. They apply to all academic units and areas of the Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL) where training activities are carried out at undergraduate level.

Requirements for Integrating Subject:

  • To have active enrolment
  • To have passed the Integrating Subject
  • To have the status ‘COMPLETED THE MATTERS OF THE MESSAGE’.
  • No debts of VALUE or NO VALUE with the Institution.
  • Have pre-professional business and community service internships duly registered in the system.

This is done exclusively in case the student is not satisfied with the grade obtained in an exam, after review with the professor. The re-grading will be done only on written documents in the teacher's possession.

    DEGREE REGULATIONS OF THE ESCUELA SUPERIOR POLITÉCNICA DEL LITORAL, ESPOL.

  • Article 26.- Third Matriculation. - A student shall exceptionally and automatically obtain third enrollment in one or more subjects, courses or equivalents, provided he/she meets any of the following conditions: a. Requires enrollment for the third time in subjects classified as General Education, Basic Sciences and Mathematics, in accordance with Article 13 of these regulations. b. If the student has a general career average equal to or higher than six and a half (6.5), as long as it does not involve the Curricular Integration Unit.

 

It is done exclusively when the student has suffered situations of illness, fortuitous event or force majeure, domestic calamity, or similar situations duly documented, which prevent the student from continuing his or her studies. It may be submitted up to two semesters after the alleged event, provided that the student has not previously enrolled in any subject at ESPOL.

This request is made when the student needs to use the faculty spaces (classrooms, auditoriums) for academic or informative events. You should send an e-mail to subdecafadcom@espol.edu.ec to apply for spaces at least 48 hours in advance.

This request is presented when the student requires the use of technological equipment of the faculty for the development of their academic practices. An email should be sent to the technical faculty member of the student's career, to request the resources at least 72 hours in advance.
